Vitamin D Guidelines

It’s hard to know how much vitamin D a person should be getting dietarily — you can find all sorts of recommendations online, from all sorts of people.

We at Medecor Pharma do not give recommended dosages or intake levels for vitamin D; however, we have included a useful chart below to give you a better idea of what the big institutions are saying in regards to vitamin D intake today.

The chart below is excerpted from an Endocrine Society’s clinical practice guideline1, which can be found in full at their website. The chart includes official recommendations both from the Endocrine Society and from the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Please note that these numbers are not for peoples diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency; please view the full Endocrine Society Guideline for recommendations for deficient persons.
